How we use AI

Vivid Recruitment products (VividHR and VividCV) use artificial intelligence to assist with candidate screening and assessment. AI is used to transcribe video responses, parse CV documents, score candidates against job criteria, and generate summaries and recommendations.

AI does not make decisions

AI-generated scores, rankings, and recommendations are advisory only. No hiring, rejection, or screening decision is made by AI alone. All AI outputs are presented to human decision-makers for review, and humans retain full control over every hiring decision.

Accuracy and limitations

AI outputs are not guaranteed to be accurate, complete, or free from error. Language models may misinterpret responses, miss context, or produce inconsistent results. Users should verify AI outputs against their own judgment before making decisions.

Bias and fairness

We actively work to identify and reduce bias in our AI models. However, no AI system is completely free from bias. Models trained on historical data may reflect patterns that could disadvantage certain groups. We encourage users to review AI recommendations critically and to report any concerns about unfair treatment to our team.

Data handling

Candidate data processed by AI is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy and applicable data protection laws, including the Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA). We do not sell candidate data to third parties or use it for purposes beyond the services you have engaged.

Your responsibilities

As a user of Vivid products, you are responsible for how you use AI-generated insights in your hiring decisions. You agree to use AI outputs as one input among many, to comply with applicable employment and anti-discrimination laws, and to ensure that final hiring decisions are made by qualified humans.
